Practice Readiness Assessment Tool (PRAT™)

 The Practice Readiness Assessment Tool (PRAT™) is an initiative of the Independent Nurses Integrity & Readiness Council (INIRC) designed to advance the understanding of clinical readiness in nursing practice.

While education, licensure, and certification remain essential milestones within the profession, they do not always fully reflect how prepared a nurse is to respond to the realities of clinical care. PRAT™ was developed to explore how readiness can be more clearly understood, measured, and supported within modern healthcare environments.

PRAT™ represents a framework that seeks to bridge the gap between professional qualification and real-world performance.
